| I am just coming to realize how far i have come playing bass. like i remember the days when i used to sit and play root note basslines like blink 182 and shit like that. now im taking Roger Waters' basslines and improvising with what he gave. for instance, in comfortably numb, he plays simple root notes in the beginning, then goes all out when the chorus & solos come up. i learned his bassline. mastered it. and now i improvise on whatever key he is in. its insane. i dunno i gotta give it up to my bass teacher Jeff Denny for teaching me all this shit. even though i dont go for lessons anymore, its all good. ive come a long way in 3 years.
I cant wait till i get this second job. since my asshole boss cut my hours at waldbaums , which totally just threw me off track. i want to go this dojo in huntington to continue training. Im going to stop wit my dojo in medford cause i believe i got what i needed self defense wise. I want to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which is a ground fighting art. Im going to take it for tournaments and shit. Kinda like UFC. Once i get this second job it should all be good. cause its gonna cost like close to 200 a month for training. crazy stuff.
